Some of the key challenges for those who work - or are preparing themselves to operate - in an international environment are related with the successful attempt to intercept, understand and forecast the direction of the major international political, economic and security dynamics. These turn out to be true value-added skills in a globalized world, more and more characterized by changing, interconnected and complex issues.
A “Manager in International Relations” is someone who, for own choice or necessity, should cope with the task of:
- Collecting and using information at international level, to build a proper knowledge base and be better prepared for decision making;
- Understanding changes and evolutions at political, economic or security level, like “the Brexit”, “currency wars”, the conflict in Syria…;
- Managing negotiation processes in a multicultural world, to better reach his/her goals
“Managing international relations” wants to support and help university students, young and even experienced professionals to build their “toolkits” for better understanding, analyzing and managing international relations.
